In addition to the constant pressures to fill the house, the theatre industry faces a new universe of threats – from terrorist incidents and physical safety to myriad cyber security, identity fraud, credit card theft and looming data protection regulations that carry monumental penalties. Any one of these can lead to not only substantial financial costs but also to irreparable reputational damage for the West End and UK theatre as a whole. And, while it’s tempting to think of these threats in isolation, the fact is they are all intricately related – a vulnerability in one area significantly increases the risk of other breaches.

At this free seminar – sponsored by Managed Networks, the leading supplier of IT services to the live entertainment sector – the aim is to raise awareness and understanding of each of these modern threats and find collaborative solutions to averting them on an industry-wide basis.
